Mixed team seeks additional runner. We've been there, done that and want to keep coming back. Experienced team that runs for fun.
I live in Lexington and am looking to join a team.
I ran my first half marathon this spring at a 12:44 pace and a 10K this past weekend at a 10:14 pace. I feel like I can drop that under to under 10:00 per mile for each leg with continued training, especially if one of the shorter set of legs.
If that will fit into your team, feel free to email me at running @ kaelinfamily . com
I sent an email. My email is: firstname.lastname@example.org
Cell: 502-316-3720. You should do great. Mel

Hey John, my team just decided to bank their lottery ticket till next year, but I was super excited about doing it this year. Do you still need someone? My recent half marathon time was 2:02..I'm getting there ;)
Let me know when you get a moment please.

Absolutely. It's a great team.
Really? You still have a spot? That would be wonderful! Let me know what I need to do from here, please.
I am am asking everyone to train for 3 1/2 legs. We have the option of using running buddies on the night runs.
I need to get you in our team chat room.
I will be getting estimated pace and distance preferences in the next few weeks. We have some strong runners for the big legs.
Have you done the Chase before?
Not sure if my last email came through....No, I haven't done the race before, but am super excited to get the chance, that's why I was a bit bummed when I just found out that my team decided to wait on it.
I live in the mountains, so I am pretty good at hills if there are any in the race, and I am a baker, so being up and moving in the wee hours is my daily norm! I am pretty good at the 3:00-4:00am thing, so those are my strong points ;)
Yes, please add me to the chat, and let me know what else I need to do from here.
thank you again!
i can't tell if my email is getting through either.
send me a phone number and i will add you to the group.
my number is
I was also wondering why you are splitting it in to halves? There are only 12 people per team, right? Should we be running at least 3 full legs?
